Random book review

"Safe Habour (IIRC...)" by Danniel Steel.

Overall:
This book is pretty much on two poor people, in their 40s, who have lost something dear to them. The lady, Olpihie or something, had lost her husband and her sick son in an aeroplane accident. They other guy got dumped by his wife, who took his kids to Auckland.

This book pretty much plays with your emotions. You will want to feel sorry for them. You will want to cry for them. You will want to feel happy when they are happy.

Or at least, that's what this book is trying to do. In fact, this is just like those Korean Drama serials which want you to go "Hey! That Happened as well! *breaks down and starts crying*".

More indepth view:

Not much really good quotable phrases from the book, and the language used was just enough. The story was pretty well set, as it simply revolved around the 3 main characters. Nothing much really happened, like a third party involvement or something. In fact, this book uses very very few locations, and skips most of the crap that would make it look stupid. It's your reality-book type of book.

NF's personal review:

Not my type. It was on the library's "new arrivals", so I picked it up for fun. Being one who loves action (Adrenaline junkie), I never found myself really absorbed into the book, just rushing through it to complete it. I'm more of a Dan Brown/Tom Clancy type of book reader. More action, less emotion, or something like that.

Despite it being written well, I don't think it deserves a single score from me. Yes, I am that sadistic. However, it didn't get me really into it, so...0.

What's with morons and sticky caps? Is it really cool and hip to type in sticky caps? Seriously, do they not know that it makes them look stupid and childish? Instead of writting in a sentence with proper grammar so that people need not guess it's meaning, useless time is spent on pressing the shift button. How, is that fun? Seriously, get off galaxynet and head to some other servers. Type that in Rizon, and you will get flammed and probably kicked by some channel op. Head to some other message boards other then those that are based in Singapore, say..Gamefaqs message boards. Type like that, instant 3KL, or a NKL at the very least.

Seesh. It's not a matter of preference. It's a matter of presentation. If you are going to do your homework, you are not going to write it in pencil, right? You use pen, because it is more lasting and gives the reader more respect. You want respect? Gain some yourself first. Stop using Sticky caps. Grow up and type properly. In games, probably yes, you can use sticky caps (Although people will immediately think that you are a six year old kid). In a message board, where the message lasts for a while, don't do it.
